4000 TPH Aggregate Shiploader for sale
QUOTE:
Price is very competitive, for such a good unit.
Attached are two aerial shots of the ship loader at work in Ireland. Please also see below a copy of an email we received from the manufacturers giving a detailed description of the equipment.
We designed, manufactured and installed the unit and integral feed system in 1999/2000.
Normally such a Whitwick Engineering Plant would have upwards of 25 years life, if maintained and serviced correctly, in prescribed periods.
The Shiploader system consists: –
-40mm granite is withdrawn from a stockpile by reclaim feeders, at a maximum rate of 4,000tph.
This material is transferred onto C1 inclined conveyor (shown on the photographs).
C1 Conveyor
Material conveyed – -40mm crushed stone
Belt centres – 144m
Belt width – 1500mm
Design capacity – 4000tph
Belt speed – 3.35m/second
Motor power – 2 x 150.0kW
Gear boxes – 2 x Ranger drive
Belt tensioning – Automatic gravity tension
Belt scrapers – Hoverdale ‘T’ type with ‘S’ arms
Belt construction – 1000/5ply, 6mm + 2mm covers
Discharge from C1 conveyor via circular chute onto tail of C2 conveyor, mounted on common structure with C3 conveyor.
C2 Conveyor
Conveyor type – Troughed, inclined, horizontal or declined
Design capacity – 4000tph

Motor power – 2 x 55.0kW head driven
Gear boxes – 2 x David Brown – helical bevel gearbox at 18.2:1 ratio
Belt tensioning – Tail screw take-up
Belt scrapers – Hoverdale ‘T’ type with ‘S’ arms
Belt construction – 800/4ply, 6mm + 2mm covers
Discharge from C2 conveyor onto C3 conveyor.
C3 Conveyor
Conveyor type – Troughed, inclined, horizontal or declined with 12m telescopic head section
Design capacity – 4000tph
Material conveyed – -40mm crushed stone
Belt centres – 12M (Telescopic)
Belt width – 1500mm
Belt speed – 3.35m/second
Gear boxes – 2 x David Brown – helical bevel gearbox at 17.3:1 ratio
Belt tensioning – Tail screw take-up

In addition to conveyor C3 having a 12m telescopic head section, both conveyor C2 and C3 on a common structure can be raised or lowered during the loading process to suit size of vessel and tidal conditions. The entire structure above the base supporting structure is mounted on a Roballo ring gear, enabling the complete top structure, containing the control cabin, circular receiving hopper, conveyors C2 and C3 to be rotated up to a maximum of 180º to facilitate accurate positioning over the full range of ships holds, therefore eliminating the necessity for small “Bobcat” type front end loaders being lifted into the holds of the larger vessels for levelling purposes. This of course can improve the ships turnaround time.
The equipment was marked, indexed and carefully packed for shipping by ourselves and it was sold to a coal producer in Colombia.
NOTE: Pric is NETT FOB.
They never got around to putting the system to work and is now available for sale : Price against serious named buyer!
